A restaurant in Changchun, the capital of Jilin province, provides free breakfasts for street cleaners, New Culture Daily reported on Wednesday.

Every early morning, the restaurant opens its door and provides bread and hot porridge free to the cleaners. The restaurant owner, surnamed Guo, 35, said she and her husband have run the restaurant for five years and started to provide free food to the street cleaners from March 5, a national day of doing good things for others.

"We will continue our effort to provide the free food for the street cleaners and, if conditions allow, we will provide free food in other districts, in order to give a free breakfast to more street cleaners," Guo said.
