The search for missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 in the southern Indian Ocean ended for Tuesday with "no significant developments," Australian maritime authorities said. [Special coverage]
"All aircraft assisting in the MH370 search have returned to Perth. No significant developments to report," tweeted the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA).
According to the Joint Agency Coordination Centre, 10 planes and nine ships assisted in Tuesday's hunt for the ill-fated Boeing 777 jetliner, which disappeared early March 8 while carrying 239 people from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.
Despite the massive multinational search efforts, no hard evidence has been acquired about the whereabouts of the missing plane.
