"I am confident that everything that possibly can be done to find this aircraft will be done. We cannot be certain of success, but we can be certain of the professionalism and the effort that will be brought to the task," said Australian PM.
"The world expects us to do our level best, and I'm very confident that you will indeed show what we can do together, as a group of nations, that we want to find answers. We want to provide comfort to the families, and we will not rest until answers are indeed found. I'm very confident with the level of professionalism shown, as alluded to by Prime Minister Abbott, that indeed, in due time, we will provide a closure to this event, for this tragedy," said Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak.
The two Prime Ministers thanked the crews that have been hunting for MH370. Abbot accompanied Najib as he toured the air base, which has been serving as the hub for multinational search operations. The two met search plane crew members who have been undertaking almost daily flights to hunt for wreckage. Najib also received a briefing at the newly established Joint Action Coordination Center.
