The Malaysian government has submitted an initial report to the UN body for global aviation, the International Civil Aviation Organization, or ICAO. In an interview with CNN, Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak also says that the report will be available to the public next week.  [Special coverage]

According to the ICAO, the report included a safety recommendation, in which Malaysia said the aviation world needs to look at real-time tracking of commercial aircraft.

It's the same recommendation that was made after the Air France Flight 447 disaster in 2009.

China's Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang says China will send representatives to take part in the investigation on the missing plane in accordance with international agreement.

Meanwhile, Australian authorities say that the submersible Bluefin-21 has searched almost 95 percent of the underwater core zone, but found nothing related to the plane.
