A 5.2-magnitude earthquake occured in the South China Sea at 8:43 am Monday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 19.8 degrees north latitude and 120.0 degrees east longitude, and the focus of the quake was 4 kilometers deep.
