The National Museum of China launched its first evening exhibition and extended visiting hours to 8 pm on April 26, the Legal Mirror reported.
A total of 1,150 people visited the museum after 4 pm for the special exhibition commemorating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Sino-French diplomatic relations. The show, jointly held by the National Museum of China and five museums in France, includes masterpieces from Pablo Picasso and Pierre-Auguste Renoir, and has drawn an average of 3,000 people every day since it opened to the public on April 12.
The museum will also extend the visiting time to 8 pm on May 3, 10 and 18, when the "Rome and Baroque Art" exhibition opens to the public.
