China has solid foundation of sustained growth: Li

China enjoys solid foundation of sustained economic growth despite a recent slowdown, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang told a forum in Abuja Thursday.

Addressing the World Economic Forum on Africa, Li said China has recorded a slowdown in economic growth compared with past performance, but the country still enjoys solid foundation of sustained growth. [Special coverage]

China will give more attention to enhancing the quality and efficiency of growth and making growth more inclusive and sustainable, the premier said.

"We have the confidence and capability to meet the expected growth target of around 7.5 percent for this year," he said.
