Shanghai is currently hosting the World Travel Fair. It welcomes exhibitors from around the globe, introducing exotic new destinations to Chinese looking for their next holiday destination.
What's your next destination? The fair has a little something for everyone. Those planning to travel can get informed on their upcoming destination. Those uncertain where to go can get a taste of what the world has to offer. And those happy at home but with a few hours to kill can go around the globe in an afternoon. Apart from those popular tourist destinations, the fair also attracts some new spots to Chinese tourists. Like this country located in south America which is famous for its coffee, can I have a cup of coffee? Hmm, tastes good. how to say good taste in Spanish?
66-year-old Luo Jinming loves to travel. The fair gives him a foretaste of his dream destinations.
"I always wanted to visit Switzerland. I know it's a nice place with blue skies and beautiful lakes." Mr. Luo said.
Apart from traditional services, some programs are specially designed to better serve Chinese tourists when they travel abroad.
"The program is a standard that we dedicated to Chinese travellers. We want to inform the foreign travel businesses about what are the needs of their Chinese clients. Like how they can make them feel more welcomed. And how they can do hospitality in a better way." Jacopo Sertoli, founder & CEO of Select Holding Ltd., said.
The World Travel Fair is to conclude on Sunday.
