Cops kill truck driver  

云南镇雄一男子当街驾车冲撞群众致3伤 已被击毙

A man was shot dead by police after he injured three pedestrians driving a truck into a crowd in Zhenxiong county, Yunan province on Thursday.

Police were called to the scene and shot the man after he ignored warnings, the official police microblog said.

The suspect died in hospital and the injured are receiving treatment.

The police shooter was commended by the public security bureau in the city of Zhaotong, which administers the county, for saving lives.
