Police in Dafang, Guizhou province, busted several illegal Internet cafes, including one located in a pigsty.

Five students were found playing online games at the illegal Internet cafe, which turned out to be a 10-square-meter pigsty hidden among local dwellings in Dafang county.

Next to the pigsty were two big vats storing rotting food leftovers and a latrine pit.

Illegal Internet cafes are popular among elementary and middle school students. An unnamed local officer in Dafang said more are popping up in the rural-urban fringe zone of Dafang.

The majority of students playing there are left-behind children whose parents have left to work in cities.

Juveniles are not permitted to enter Internet cafes, but illegal ones often allow children.
