Two people have died and two remain missing after two boats collided on Tuesday off the coast of east China's Fujian Province, authorities said on Wednesday.
Seven people aboard fishing boat "Min Chang Yu 23156" all fell into the water after the boat collided with a ship and sank.
The Fuzhou Maritime Safety Administration received an emergency call at 3:38 p.m. on Tuesday and sent rescue planes and ships to the scene.
Three people were rescued and two others were confirmed to have died. Another two people are still missing and rescue work is continuing, according to the administration.
An investigation is under way.
