China's prosecuting authorities have decided to investigate two officials with the National Energy Administration (NEA), who are suspected of receiving bribes.
The two officials are Hao Weiping, head of the NEA's nuclear power department, and Wei Pengyuan, vice director of the NEA's coal department.
According to a statement released Wednesday, "compulsory measures" have been taken against Hao and Wei, and their cases are under investigation.
