Thousands of online shops are now offering to publish the contents of people's Weibo, WeChat and blog posts as customized books, the Beijing Morning Post reported.
Prices vary from less than 100 yuan ($16.05) to hundreds of yuan. One seller claimed it costs 38 yuan to produce a book less than 20 pages and 118 yuan for a 100-page book.
Books with pictures cost more. The seller added it is easier to publish books containing people's Weibo posts, which are accessible by all Internet users. Privacy concerns have been raised over books containing WeChat posts, which require sellers to access user's accounts to retrieve information.
