Ganzi county in Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Southwest China's Sichuan Province has held police anti-terror drills. The drills were aimed at testing police response to emergencies and officers' skills using anti-terrorism weapons.
The drills presented emergency situations to police, including self-immolation, violent attacks, illegal gatherings, and sit-in protests.
Police officers' abilities to wrestle, fight, release hostages, and defuse bombs were tested. They also displayed weapons and equipment used during anti-terrorism combat to the public.
