Over the weekend, Chinese pop star Li Yuchun strutted along the red carpet at the 67th Cannes Film Festival on the French Riviera. The multiple singing contest winner, also known as Chris Lee, was there to promote her acting career. At the festival, she talked about her showbiz career and her take on social media.

On Saturday, the 30-year-old singer graced the red carpet in a trademark silk pant suit. Li says that there is a lot to consider when choosing an outfit.

"It's a very difficult decision-making process because all the gowns are so beautiful. At the end of the day, I just want to be very comfortable on the red carpet, and the overall style has to be very 'me,' so the outfit is going to be very cool, and look beautiful," she said.

Since becoming one of the first winners on China's Super Girl singing contest, Li has represented many notable brands. Her profile grew further last year at the MTV Europe Music Awards, where she won Best Worldwide Act, beating nominees such as Justin Bieber, One Direction, and Korean boyband Exo.
