Guangzhou Evergrande has been drawn to meet quarter-final debutant Western Sydney Warriors in the last eight of the AFC Champions League.
The quarter-final draw was made at a ceremony at the AFC headquarters in Malaysia, and Evergrande captain Zheng Zhi was the guest of honor.
Guangzhou will travel to Sydney first, with the home leg to follow at the end of August.The 2009 champion Pohang Steelers was pitted against its South Korean rival FC Seoul.In the West, Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia was drawn to meet Qatar's Al Sadd. Al Ain of the UAE was pitted against Al Ittihad of Saudi Arabia.
The first legs will be held on 19th and 20th of August, with the return legs a week later.
This will be Guangzhou's third consecutive quarter-final appearance in the tournament.
