Malaysian PM attends seminar at BFSU on China-Malaysia relations

Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak continues his visit in Beijing for a third day. On Friday morning, he attended the opening ceremony of the Seminar on International study on China-Malaysia relations at Beijing Foreign Studies University.

He addressed over 200 scholars from both China and Malaysia, citing the achievements which both countries made in promoting bilateral relations during the past 40 years. He said the raising the relationship between Malaysia and China from strategic cooperation to comprehensive strategic partnership would entail enhancing cooperation in various fields such as trade, investment, tourism, education, financial services, infrastructure development.

"The current snapshot of Malaysia-China relations is one that is closely connected and multi-faceted. The pursuit of opportunity and prosperity continues to be the hallmark of the relationship, one that both our countries can mutually benefit from. It's also contributed to the harmony and stability in the region and the furtherance of its vibrant and dynamic socio-economic development. ." Razak said.
