Fake drug gang busted

Beijing police have broken up a criminal gang in Fangshan district who made and sold fake drugs.

More than 200,000 counterfeit tablets were found. Three suspects were arrested, reported the Legal Daily.

According to the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau, the fake drugs were found to be made of flour, powder of some Chinese traditional medicines and some western drugs, which could lead to serious diseases.
