Qinzhou vice mayor in Guangxi probed

A vice mayor of Qinzhou city in southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region is being investigated for "serious disciplinary violations", the regional disciplinary watchdog said on Monday.

Lu Qinhua is under investigation, according to a statement issued by the regional Commission of Disciplinary Inspection.

Lu assumed his post as vice mayor in 2010.

Neighboring Guizhou Province has also announced that a vice mayor of Guiyang City is being investigated.
