A city mayor in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region is being probed for suspected disciplinary violations, the discipline watchdog of the Communist Party of China(CPC) said in a statement on Monday.
Lu Qinhua, vice mayor of Qinzhou City, is under investigation for suspected serious violations of discipline and the law, according to the statement, which was posted on the website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC.
Born in 1962, Lu was a native of Qinzhou. He became the city's vice mayor in December 2010.
