A special envoy of Chinese President Xi Jinping will attend a summit to mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Group of 77 (G77) this weekend, the Foreign Ministry's spokeswoman announced on Thursday.
Chen Zhu, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, will travel to the two-day gathering in Bolivia, Hua Chunying said.
The G77 is a United Nations coalition of developing nations, founded on June 15, 1964.
