Chaoyang district court announced that during the past 7 years, there have been 25 teenagers involved in drug dealing cases. Among them, over 30 percent worked in karaoke parlors, bars, or as models. Social media platforms are the main channels for the teenagers becoming involved in drugs, the Beijing Times reported.
Judge Chen Fa said that 16 of the teenagers were from single-parent families or families with a remarried parent. Chen noted that before 2013, most teenage drug dealers were with an adult, but now they work in teams or even as individual drug dealers.
