2014 PLA Air Force pilot recruitment in full swing

The final selection for the 2014 pilot recruitment of the Air Force of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLAAF) is carried out in full swing, and the first 100 candidates are accepting physical examination and psychological test, reporter learned from the Pilot Recruitment Bureau of the PLAAF on June 21.

A total of over 3,000 candidates screened out from the preliminary selection will attend the final selection this year, eventually about 1,000 candidates will be enrolled in the Aviation University of the Air Force (AUAF), according to the PLAAF.

"The recruitment this year highlights professional peculiarity with a view to select high-caliber candidate of potential flight quality," said a leader of the Pilot Recruitment Bureau of the PLAAF.

In addition to the requirements for high political quality, cultural quality, physical quality and psychological quality of the candidates in preliminary selection, the Air Force underlined candidates' potential flight quality, according to resources. Therefore, the Air Force has highlighted the test on aviation physiology indicators, and added simulated flight test in the psychological selection.

The result of the final selection will be released at http://www.kjzfw.mil.cn/, and the admission list will be made public at the website on about July 10.
