Human punching bag wants to work in US

A man in Anlu, Hubei province, who earns more than 200,000 yuan ($32,245) a year by letting people beat him, wants to go to the United States to increase his income, Strait News reported.

Xie Shuiping, 48, a farmer in the city, started to learn kung fu from his grandfather when he was 16 years old. He went to Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong province, to work as a migrant worker in 1999, but earned very little money.

Xie decided to take advantage of his kung fu knowledge to perform and charge people to beat his stomach. From then on, Xie earned 20,000 to 30,000 yuan every month for being a human punching bag.

Xie said he wants to go to the US next year to display his kung fu prowess and earn US dollars for being beaten.
