'Continent' sets out

With less than two weeks before Han Han's film Continent is set to be screened in theaters, Han along with the film's producer Fang Li and its two leading actors Feng Shaofeng and Berlin Chen appeared at a press conference Monday afternoon to promote his directorial debut.

Compared to the low key attitude the director has maintained when it comes to revealing details about the movie over the past few months, the director shared quite a few behind-the-scenes stories as well as showing a blooper reel from the film. The director explained that while the crew experienced some difficulties shooting the film, he showed this "happier" behind-the-scenes look because he wanted the film's happier moments to be remembered.

According to the conference, the film was scheduled to finish post-production that very night. Meanwhile, Fang stated that he was confident that the film would attract audiences of all ages from those in their late 60s through to those in their 30s or 20s.

"The film is rich with content and has been shot using Han's particular style of humor," he explained.
