City politicial advisor under probe

A vice chairman of a city-level political advisory body has been placed under investigation, authorities in southwest China's Sichuan province said Thursday.

Fu Yi, vice chairman of Chengdu municipal committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, is suspected of seriously violating disciplines and laws, the province's commission for discipline inspection said in a statement.
