A 5.1-magnitude earthquake jolted sea off northern Taiwan at 9:11 p.m. Friday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 26.3 degrees north latitude and 125.9 degrees east longitude, with a depth of 130 kilometers.
