Simpler junior high enrollment

Primary schools in Xicheng district have seen a rise in popularity through a direct enrollment program. The program guarantees enrollment for a portion of students at high-ranking junior high schools, the Beijing News reported.

The primary schools in the district have received enrollment of 12,200 students this year. Xishiku Primary School has experienced an increase in its enrollment numbers as students can now be directly enrolled at one of Beijing's most prestigious high schools, Beijing No. 4 High School. Yuzhong Primary School and Fuzhouguan Primary School have also become more popular since their students can be directly enrolled at Beijing Sanfan Middle School and Beijing No. 8 High School respectively.
