More than 70 chefs from China and Russia have cooked a 112-meter-long pork kebab, setting a Guinness record.
The cooking took place at the China-Russia border city of Suifenhe, where workers pierced more than 300 kilos of pork slices with a skewer about 111 meters long.
A notary for Guinness World Records announced that the exact length of the kebab was 112.374 meters, replacing the previous 107.6-meter one made in Japan to become the world's longest.
All facilities were disinfected and hundreds of Chinese and foreign tourists enjoyed the giant kebab following food safety workers' strict supervision.
The event is part of activities of the Fourth China-Russia Tourism Festival held in the city.
