Three passengers were killed and 20 others injured when a coach rolled 20 meters down a slope in southwest China's Sichuan province on Wednesday evening.

The accident happened at about 7:20 pm in Yilong county of Nanchong city. With the surface possibly made slippy by a downpour, the bus carrying 23 people veered off the road, government sources told Xinhua on Thursday.

Two people were immediately killed, and one died in hospital.
