Asia's largest museum is hoping to tap that energy from China's youth. An exhibition featuring works by primary and middle school students has opened at the China Art Museum in Shanghai.

Titled "Sunshine & Dreams", the works cover a variety of genres, including traditional Chinese paintings, calligraphy, cartoons and more. The exhibition will go on for a month at the Museum. The works were selected through a national competition back in April, which has received enthusiastic responses from around the country.

The final 350 works were chosen by renowned artists from over ten thousand submissions, whose works reflect a world seen through the eyes of a younger generation.
