Ma Ying-jeou, Taiwan's Kuomintang (KMT) chairman, offered his condolences on Monday to the families of victims in Sunday's Yunnan quake and those affected by the disaster.
Ma's condolences were delivered by Kuei Hung-cheng, head of KMT Mainland Affairs Department, on behalf of the KMT Central Committee.
The 6.5-magnitude earthquake, which struck Ludian county in Yunnan at 4:30 pm Sunday (Beijing Time), has claimed 398 deaths as of Monday afternoon.
