College freshmen can now get their campus guides via their university's WeChat, app and Weibo, after more than 200 domestic universities launched digital orientation services, the Beijing Times reported.
For example, Renmin University of China has printed the QR codes of their WeChat public account on their paper offers. Fudan University launched its own app through which students can get information on courses, campus life and communicating directly with senior students. Other universities have also updated their campus information onto their WeChat and Weibo accounts.
