Guizhou plans to build 2,300 kindergartens

The moves are aimed at popularizing preschool education. Guizhou plans to enroll 200,000 children within three years.

The 2,300 planned new kindergartens will include 182 private ones.

The Guizhou education authority has asked local governments to build kindergartens based on their population densities.

In some remote mountainous areas, local departments should carry out voluntary teaching and build public village kindergartens to help children receive a preschool education.
