Three people with Taiwanese-invested Kunshan Zhongrong Metal Products Co., Ltd. have been detained over a deadly factory blast in east China.
According to the Kunshan City government of Jiangsu province, chairman Wu Chi-tao was put under "criminal detention" by the local police on Thursday, together with a general manager and a manger.
The blast gutted a wheel hub polishing workshop owned by Zhongrong on Saturday morning in Kunshan city killing 75 people and injuring over 180.
