An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale jolted Yongshan County of Southwest China's Yunnan Province 06:07 a.m. Sunday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
The epicenter, with a depth of 7 km, was monitored at about 28.1 degrees north latitude and 103.5 degrees east longitude, the center said in a statement.
