China loses to Iran in Asian Cup volleyball

The Chinese youth team lost to a second-string national team of Iran in straight sets in the Asian Cup men's volleyball tournament on Tuesday.

The Iranian players are more experienced and aggressive, winning over the only youth side in the Asian Cup with a score of 25-21, 25-14, 25-15.

"We didn't show our best and made too many mistakes," said China captain Yao Chen.

The other games all ended in straight sets, with Thailand, India and South Korea beating Australia, Japan and Kazakhstan respectively.

Wednesday's games are China vs Thailand, Kazakhstan vs Japan, India vs South Korea and Iran against Australia.
