The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) said Monday that it will jointly organize with the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government a briefing session on constitutional development of Hong Kong in the HKSAR.
The briefing session will be held on Sept. 1 in the morning at AsiaWorld-Expo, Hong Kong International Airport.
The Deputy Secretary-General of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPCSC) Li Fei, the Vice-Chairperson of the Legislative Affairs Commission of the NPCSC Zhang Rongshun, and the Deputy Director of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council Feng Wei will come to Hong Kong to address the briefing session.
The organizing parties will invite guests from different sectors of the community to the briefing session.
Guests to be invited will include members of the Legislative Council, chairmen and vice-chairmen of the District Councils, Hong Kong deputies to the NPC, Hong Kong members of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and people from different sectors of the community.
