Chinese vice premier to visit Turkmenistan, Czech Republic, Russia

Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli will visit Turkmenistan, the Czech Republic andRussia from Tuesday to next Monday, Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei announced on Monday.

According to Hong, Zhang will attend the third meeting of the China-Turkmenistan Cooperation Committee and the second Local Leaders' Meeting of China and Central and Eastern European (CEE) Countries. He will also attend the 11th meeting of the China-Russia Energy Cooperation Committee and a ground-breaking ceremony for the China-Russia east route gas project in Russia.

Zhang's upcoming visit is at the invitation of his Turkmen counterpart Baymyrat Hojamuhammedov, the government of the Czech Republic and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich, Hong said.
