Drunk man defeated, trapped by ATM

A drunken man in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province became stuck trying to crawl out of a glass ATM enclosure on early Wednesday morning because he couldn't find the button to open the door.

Police arrived at around 3:30 am to find the young man helplessly pinned under the glass enclosure after trying to shimmy under a small space at the bottom.

Officers were forced to destroy the glass partition in order to free him.

The man surnamed Song, 20, had entered the ATM booth at 11 pm on Tuesday.

Song was too drunk to operate the ATM, which ultimately ate his bank card.

Defeated by the cash machine, he then met his second challenge - the door.

Song explained he had became stuck under the partition on his second attempt to crawl out of the booth.

Song was forced to pay 2,000 yuan ($326) in repairs.
