The Chinese Haze Prevention and Control Institute (CHPC) will join hands with Concent Global Groupon, Inc.(CCGG) of the United States to sponsor two major international academic conferences on environment issues.
The 11th International Symposium on Recent Advances in Environmental Health and the 13th International Symposium on Metal Ions in Biology & Medicine will be held by National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi, USA from Sept. 14-18.
The two conferences are a contribution to global research and education in the field of environmental science, biomedical science, public health, and metal ions in biology and medicine.
The over-arching objective of the agencies'cooperation is to promote interdisciplinary discussion and international scientific collaboration, as well as to increase awareness of global environmental and public health issues facing Mississippi, the US and the international community.
Zhang Boyang, President of CHPC said his agency aims to conduct research in haze reduction and elimination, and participating these international symposiums will help his agency learn more about successful international practices.
Dr. Wang Min, CEO of CCGG, said her company is an all-time champion in producing health products and is dedicated to the research of haze-caused illnesses, such as the connection between hazardous air pollution and lung cancer.
Both leaders showed a great willingness to sponsor the international academic event, saying their sponsorship will be long-term, as "contributing their own effort to the undertaking of human health" is their shared goal.
