China's top justice on Tuesday said the country will deepen reforms in its judicial sector to ensure an open, transparent and predictable judicial environment for investments.
Zhou Qiang, president of the Supreme People's Court (SPC), made the remarks at the China-ASEAN Justice Forum attended by judicial representatives from China and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries.
Zhou said China has made efforts to reform its judicial system, advance legal consistency, enhance intellectual property right protection and promote judicial transparency to improve the judicial conditions for investment.
Also, he said the SPC is willing to conduct further exchanges and closer cooperation with judiciary circles in ASEAN countries.
