Pan Yiyang, vice president of the government of north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region was under probe for suspected discipline and law violations, the country's anti-graft body said Wednesday.
Pan is also a member of the standing committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional Committee.
The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) made the announcement on its official website.
