Shanghai Disney Resort to hire thousands of graduates

Shanghai Disney Resort has kicked off a recruitment campaign in Shanghai to hire skilled local talent. This initial recruitment drive, the first of many recruitment initiatives, will focus on technical and creative positions for the design and construction of the resort.

The first phase of recruitment seeks to fill 100 highly-skilled positions, in disciplines such as design engineering, project and construction management, project integration, IT, procurement and finance.

The interview is a unique opportunity for local talent to join a global leader in family entertainment. Hirees would become "Cast Members and Imagineers", the terms used for Disney employees who imagine, design and build a place where dreams really do come true.

Some of the university graduates, if employed, may also have the chance for international exchange programs next summer in the United States.

No salary information has been disclosed, but staff members are generally allowed to visit any Disneyland around the world for free.
