Qin Yuhai, a senior legislative official in central China's Henan province, has been dismissed from his post for suspected "serious discipline and law violations."
The Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee made the decision to remove Qin, deputy head of the standing committee of Henan provincial people's congress, according to a statement released by the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee on Friday.
The CPC's anti-graft watchdog said on Sunday that Qin is under investigation.
