China won a close match with South Korea in the men's recurve team competition to advance to the final at the Asian Games here on Friday.
China and South Korea drew the match 4-4 at the end of the fourth set. To break the tie, the two teams went on to a shoot-off. Three of South Korea's archers shot 27 and Chinese team scored 28 to win the match.
China will face Malaysia in the men's recurve team final on Sunday. South Korea will have a bronze medal match with Japan on the same day.
South Korea edged out China at the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games to win their eighth consecutive gold medal in the event.
