China's drug traffickers unleashed a raft of new tricks during the National Day Holiday, but are no match for the country's border control agencies.

A total of 13 trafficking cases were busted and 39.11 kg of drugs seized by the border police of Lincang City in Yunnan Province during the holiday between Oct. 1 to Oct. 7.

On Tuesday, a truck driver called the police claiming a metal box had been attached to his truck with magnet on Tuesday. Police found a GPS tracker and 2.5 kg of heroin in the box.

Last Wednesday, an SUV stopped around 100 meters away from a checkpoint on the China-Myanmar border and a person absconded into a nearby sugarcane field in Myanmar. Over 10 kg of heroin was found in the car.

In 11 other cases, 12 suspects were captured with drugs disguised as tea or even hidden in a bra.
