Former vice mayor in Sichuan arrested for suspected bribery

Zou Ping, former vice mayor of Nanchong city in southwest China's Sichuan Province, is under investigation for suspected bribery, the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) said Wednesday.

The Sichuan provincial procuratorate decided to arrest Zou on Sept. 28, the SPP revealed.
