Inner Mongolia discipline official investigated

A discipline inspection leader in the Department of Transportation of north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is being investigated, the CPC central discipline watchdog said on Thursday.

Liu Baojun, the discipline team leader of the regional Department of Transportation, is under investigation for "serious violations of discipline," according to a statement on the website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

Li, born in August 1954, was a former official with the CPC regional commission for discipline inspection before moving to his current post in the transportation department.
