Chinese Premier Li Keqiang returned to Beijing on Saturday morning after visits to Germany, Russia, Italy and the UN Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) headquarters.
Germany was the only country that Li had visited twice since he took office in March 2013. During his visit, Li co-chaired the China-Germany governmental consultation with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.[Special coverage]
While visiting Russia, Li held the 19th regular meeting between the two countries's prime ministers with his counterpart Dmitry Medvedev.
During his stay in Italy, Li visited FAO headquarters in Rome on Oct. 15, the eve of World Food Day, and then attended the 10th Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) summit in Milan.
